Hello, my name is Tova Feldmanstern and I am a private tutor, licensed psychotherapist, published writer and former university faculty member and school teacher. I help people of all ages write with greater power, clarity and ease and navigate academic challenges with the skills, confidence and resources to succeed. As a graduate of Yale University and the Smith College School for Social Work, and former faculty and staff member at San Jose State University and UC Berkeley, I can help you navigate the pressures of academic life, overcome impostor syndrome.
Openness and strength are two of our most valuable human qualities. They are essential to building relationships and to powerful writing. Whether you are completing an application or a research paper, establishing a connection with your readers is vital. This often involves reaching deeply within. Though often scary, I believe that vulnerability is the source of our greatest power. I provide students with the editing, tutoring and coaching they need to powerfully achieve their goals.
