My name is Tova Feldmanstern and my pronouns are she/her. I am a licensed psychotherapist with over fifteen years' experience teaching, editing, tutoring and providing mental health support. I have also worked as a professional recruiter and hiring manager in both corporate and academic settings. I am originally from the East Coast and earned my bachelor's degree in history from Yale University and my master's degree in clinical social work from the Smith College School for Social Work.
I began my career as a middle school social studies teacher in New York City and subsequently moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and worked as a private tutor and social worker. I served for many years as a staff therapist and faculty member at San Jose State University and the University of California Berkeley. I now enjoy working for myself and my wonderful clients both here and in private practice. In my free time, I enjoy playing music, reading, writing and spending time outdoors.
