Openness and strength are two of our most valuable human qualities. They are essential to building effective relationships and to creating powerful writing. Whether you are completing an application or writing a dissertation, establishing a connection with your readers is vital. Achieving this can be daunting and bring up feelings of vulnerability.
Vulnerability is an invitation to open ourselves up. It is also the source of our greatest strength. I provide writers and students with the editing, tutoring and coaching they need to approach their subject matter with skill, openness and strength.
My name is Tova Feldmanstern and I am a licensed psychotherapist, published writer and former school teacher. I help people of all ages write with greater power, clarity and ease and navigate academic and career challenges with the skills, confidence and resources necessary to succeed. As a graduate of Yale University and the Smith College School for Social Work, and a former faculty and staff member at San Jose State University and UC Berkeley, I can help you navigate the pressures of academia and overcome the mind-trap of impostor syndrome.
